Huffpo Triple Play

My hat's off to The Huffington Post. Their current banner headlines showing three current statements from the President does the double duty of showing what low estate that office has fallen to, and also the mere placement serves as a wordless editorial. Here's a screencap:

The credulity displayed by the first statement and the not admitting the obvious (or his own errors) of the third statement puts the second statement into an interesting context, eh?

That's just a great moment in site design.

UPDATE: Speaking of design (in this case intelligent)...welcome Pharyngulans...Pharyngulists...Pharynguologists? Whatever, glad you could stop by.

For the record, even us non-scientists can see the flaws in statements like this: "The theory of intelligent design says life on earth is too complex to have developed through evolution, implying that a higher power must have had a hand in creation."

Forget "applied" science. I like "implied" science better. It's just so much easier that way.
