Smarite - We're back into candidate speeches before the "big event". All state candidates except Ford Bell, who was announced but apparently is not here at the moment.

Now Ole Savior is getting up to speak.
Rew - Ole is fun. He wants to impeach Bush and Cheney and recall Pawlenty. all DFL candidates would be better than Pawlenty, he states, and then names them all. And, as an afterthought, names himself.
Resolution on withdrawal from Iraq in 6 months. Which brings up for me something I heard about PeaceFirst. It would appear that they support El over Patty, but don't have any bodies here because they don't agree with his position on abortion.
Someone just spoke against the resolution, and said you can't get it done in 6 months, and it's a ludicrous timeframe.
Another pro-resolution speaker now. All our money is going into Iraq, and the future will have to pay. Take care of the vets and get them out of there.
Another pro-res. This is a corporate foreign policy that should be ended. She supports the res not because we need to get out in 6 months, but because they need to know that we should get out in 6 months.
Resolution passes. Large amounts of abstainers.
